All Challenge coins are solid brass. The 40mm, or 1.5" 2mm thick coins are pretty common for carrying. The 40mm, 5mm thick coins are also great for carrying, but look great on the Challenge coin shelf as well. The 50mm, or 2" coins are also 5mm thick, and have some weight to them. We have to order the 5mm thick coins from Europe, so I need 10 days time to get the coins into my possession. Please let me know how I can help. Thank you
